This was a hidden gem! I found this place on google, as I wanted to try something new and it did not disappoint. The place was quaint, very clean, and the staff was extremely welcoming. The owner actually made her way to our table to meet/great and check to see if the food was to our satisfaction. Prior to ordering, I asked for a recommendation for my meal as I was not in the mood for just chicken& waffles. I was advised the fried turkey wings was a must-have! I ordered the turkey wings with a side of Mac&cheese and collard greens. The turkey wings were fried to perfection and came with this one of a kind sauce (yummy!). The mac& cheese was homemade and tasty just like I like it and the collards were tasty as well. Because I often like to channel my inner hungry girl, I also ordered a side of fried okra which was cooked to perfection. I also ordered 2 red velvet cupcakes (with nuts) to go. Those homemade cupcakes were so moist and downright ridiculous. My 10year old son and I were looking so disappointed that we did not get a backup cupcake... definitely worth the drive and definitely on the repeat list.

I just have to say that I finally stopped and grabbed something to eat at this great establishment. I had fried Turkey wings, turnip greens, cornbread, and yams. Also, first impressions speak volumes, and the young man that waited on me was very respectful and polite. They also give good portions. I had more food, but I only put some on a plate when I got home. All I have to say is I give them a 10/10. I will definitely be back soon. If you haven’t graced them with your presence you definitely want to hurry over and support them today. Have a Blessed day!

The food here was off the chain. In other words, the food was great. The service was great. The owner came out to talk to us, and she was great. She brought a little sample of their mac and cheese, yams, and peach cobbler, and it was outstanding. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you read this, do yourself a favor and try this place out.
